We recently had the opportunity to review this little gem, and might I say I love it. This light is powered by a watch battery and lasts for 100 hours. It provides a little bit of light directly where you point it.

We used it for stage management, soldering, backstage work, behind racks, even a back-stage flashlight. It uses a standard scissors clamp and clamps on to virtually anything. This light is great for non-theatrical uses as well (worked on a car lately?).

This isn’t the brightest light you are ever going to find, but it provides solid light in a defined area. We also found that the flash light would pop off the flexible hose sometimes, but it popped right back on.

Like other Q-Lighting products, the clamp light is an LED light. It lasts for a super long time and is fairly indestructible. For $24.95 we believe it’s worth the price and a great addition to any gig-bag. It can be purchased directly from Q-Lighting’s website. It even comes in multiple colors and you can find various attachments for special uses!
