The Story:
A soldier returns home after paying the ultimate price while fighting for freedom in Iraq. A local newspaper ran a small classified with the time and date the soldier's body would be arriving at a local airfield. It said there would be a police escort and told the route that would be taken to the funeral home. What you see in this video is the capturing of the American spirit.ADVERTISEMENT
The lesson here is not everything has to be perfect to speak to someone
and also to reinforce how powerful the video medium is.
We talk about the power of video. Images like this are an amazing lesson all by themselves. The videography - not great. It's a hand held camcorder by a passenger in a police cruiser. When you know the story before watching the video, you are touched. The music choice seals the deal.
Never underestimate your ability to tell a story and touch a life.
