About our Training

We believe that while media and technology are not necessary components for Worship, they are very useful tools in discipleship and evangilism. Once we put these systems in our Houses of Worship they become mission critical systems. Media can enhance worship or derail it.

Our approach is to first teach the vital importance of media ministry (and of those who are involved in it). We have found that once the media support group is encouraged and catches the vision of their vital role in ministry they become excited to learn. Teaching the technical then becomes easy.

Multi-Day Training Sessions

Like every area of ministry, our approach is about building relationships. After years of experience, we've realized that the best way to effectively teach media is by multi-day sessions. This gives your people time to see and hear the information, then go away and think about it. Then they can come back with questions, participate in hands-on sessions, and then go away and think some more.

Maximize Your Training Multi-Day training sessions is the best way to improve retention and provide effective skills development.

Systems Tweaking

While we are at your location, we analyze your systems. We look for problem areas and make sure that your systems are performing at their peak. For instance, if we are teaching audio classes we'll look for bad grounds, bad connections, and other system problems. We'll check the room equalization and adjust if necessary.

This means that you get much more than just training. When we are on your site we make sure your systems are performing the best they can so your people can be as successful as possible. We want to see your people succeed and become encouraged.

Sunday Morning Training

Everyone in ministry knows that the heat of the media battle is during the actual worship service. With this in mind, our training includes being there for your Sunday morning services. This exclusive service is invaluable to your church. We get to observe (and help) your team during the actual service. Often times we find operational mistakes that would otherwise have remained a mystery.

After the service we have a Q&A session where people can reflect over the last few days as well as the services that morning.

DVD Integration

In many cases churches find it useful to watch our DVD's prior to our visit. We recommend this as a standard practice. This way, your people have time before our visit to learn the basics - on their own time - and be prepared with specific questions when we arrive.

Also, by watching the DVD's before hand, your media team will have a better understanding of the basisc. This means we can jump right into training without spending time on the most basic components. This maximizes our time on site.
